Valorant is a tactical first-person shooter game in the works at Riot Games, the creative studio behind League of Legends. This is a precise, competitive FPS, set on a beautiful near-future Earth, in which unique character abilities of a lethal cast of characters create opportunities for your gunplay to shine.

Getting Started in Valorant

New to Valorant or competitive first person shooters? The first guide you will want to check out is IGN's Tips, Tricks, and Guide guide for Valorant.

Here you will find an excellent assortment of starter tips like:

  • Knowing the Agents
  • Learning the Weapons at your disposal
  • Learn about the Practice Range and everything it has to offer
  • And More!

On top of the Tips, Tricks, and Strategy page, IGN's Valorant guide also offers a Crosshair Settings guide to help you find that crosshair perfect for you!

Agent Guides

IGN also has Guides for each agent in Valorant, including breakdowns of their abilities and tips to make sure you get the most out of their tool kit. There are 10 Agents currently available in Valorant:

  • Sage
  • Omen
  • Phoenix
  • Cypher
  • Breach
  • Raze
  • Sova
  • Viper
  • Jett
  • Brimstone

A big advantage in Valorant is knowing the abilities of every Agent, not just the Agents you play. This will allow you to approach situations knowing what tools your team has and what tools you need to worry about facing.

Weapon Guides

The first thing you will need to learn to be successful in Valorant is the variety of weapons available to you. Some are stronger than others, but strength may not be what your looking for in certain situations. Be sure to visit our Weapons page for a list of weapons with a breakdown of their damage and accuracy.

There is also a Weapon Tier List available at your disposal. This will list the weapons in Valorant from an S to F list describing their usefulness. Inside you will find links to community lists available to get a variety of opinions on the state of the current meta in Valorant. This includes community lists from:

  • Ranked Boost
  • Dotesports
  • Metabomb
  • Competitive Guide
