KCD2's second major expansion is Legacy of the Forge. In this DLC, you'll join the blacksmithing guild, giving you access to new weapons to test out. Below, you'll find a full breakdown of how to acquire all 15 new weapons in Legacy of the Forge.

Legacy of the Forge Random Sketches

The first thing to mention is that many of the sketches you earn in Legacy of the Forge can be randomly found while completing blacksmithing quests. Of course, you're better off following our advice below, but if you miss something, don't worry too much. It'll eventually come back around; you'll just need to complete several guild quests to get it.

Weapons From the Blacksmith Guild

As mentioned, you'll join the blacksmithing guild as part of this DLC. Here are all of the swords you can earn simply by completing the normal quests throughout the story:

  • Blacksmiths' Guild Longsword - You have to craft this as part of the main quest to enter the guild. Once you do, you can make this sword at any time.

  • Fakescalibur - At some point, a man with spectacles will appear outside your forge. He offers to sell you the plans to Excalibur. Even though we're telling you this is a fake, you should accept his offer. After crafting it, go confront the man to get your money back and wait for him to return.
  • Durendull - The next time you see our bespectacled friend, he'll try to sell you Durendell. Again, this is a fake, but craft it anyway and confront the man a second time.

  • Longsword of the Four Evangelists - When the man returns for the third time, take his weapon stub and craft the new sword. This one is actually an awesome weapon, but you only get one chance to craft it, so make a save before starting to make sure you get the "Henry" quality.
  • Dragon Fang Axe - The man will return one last time, telling you he knows how to craft a legendary axe. If you haven't completed the Dragon's Lair Side Quest in the main game, you'll need to do so. At the end of that quest, you're given the option to lie and keep some of the dragon bones. If you did, you can use them to craft this axe. Otherwise, you're probably out of luck. Some players have reported the Dragon Claw you need from the quest appearing in their chest after talking to the man, but we haven't been able to confirm that.

Investigation Mission Weapons

One of the main blacksmithing activities is the Investigations you get from Klaus called In Service of the Guild. These have you infiltrating a bandit camp and bringing back guild items. Here are all of the weapons you can earn by completing these quests:

  • Calvaria Axe - This is found randomly in chests in the bandit camps. Just check every chest until you find the sketch.
  • St. George's Sword - You can also find this sketch randomly during Investigation quests, but there is a chance to get it as a guaranteed drop. During the quest that sends you to some ruins to find an orphan's inheritance, you'll find this sketch in a chest. When you return to Klaus, you can give it back to him for a reward or lie to keep it.
  • Lingua Belli Longsword - During the final story quest in the In Service of the Guild line, you'll meet Klaus' brother, Olbert, who sends you to a shack to retrieve a dagger. After dealing with the four guards, you can loot the dagger, but don't forget this sketch is in a nearby chest.

  • Basilisk Warhammer - This sketch is also found in a chest near the Lingua Belli Longsword. If you need some help with the quest line, check out our guide on the Silent Partner quest.

Archery Mission Weapons

Another of the main guild activities takes you to the archery range. There are a few weapons you can grab from completing these quests.

  • Raven's Field Crossbow - During one of these missions, you'll find that Raven, the man who runs the quarry shooting range, has gone missing. When you find him, he tells you a few bandits stole his crossbow. After tracking them down, you can decide to lie and keep the bow, but it's smarter to give it back and then pickpocket it off him later.
  • Pushko's Push'em - This can be found randomly, but if you want a guaranteed drop, complete Raven's questline. He'll then become a merchant, and you can buy the Caster III sketch from him. Give this to your apprentice, Pushko, to have him make the weapon.

Duel Mission Weapons

The Duel guild activities see Henry going around the countryside fighting in random duels. However, there is one small quest chain here that earns you a unique sword and shield.

  • Owl Shield and Saber - As you complete more Duel missions, you'll eventually meet a secret knight named George the Owl. You need to beat him three times, and then he'll give you his unique sword and shield.

Thieving Mission Weapons

The next set of guild activities has you meeting a man named Ragman. He's all about stealing to help out the little guy, but you can obtain a few new weapons during his missions.

  • Lion's Roar Kilij - You'll automatically earn this by finishing the Ragman's questline. It's impossible to miss as the Ragman gives it to you directly.
  • Buchar Mace - You'll also earn this from the Ragman for wrapping up his quest. If you need help completing it, check out our Ragman's Dream Thieving mission guide.
