Publications - Michael Wilson

The fliers that we hand out have been around for years. No new issues have been developed and significant parts of the platform have needed work for some time. I have been complaining about the lack of a flier on our miltary's foreign deployement for years, but I might as well have been spitting into the wind. I finally gave up and made my own a couple of years ago. Also did the same for urban transportation, and occupational licensing laws. They may not have been the best, but they passed. One flier I did some years ago I used at a LP booth where the other groups were from the far left was on the military and of the 100 copies I had with me of that flier all were gone by the end of the night.
And some people who would not speak to me prior to that were more than conversational afterwards.

I know the national office is busy, but there are a lot of good writers out here and they could help put together facts for fliers if asked. I haven't tried working on this problem in some time and if someone has a clue as to how to successfully get their attention, please pass it on.

Excellent idea, Michael. Why don't we radicals develop our own series fo Libertarian party pamphlets? We can allow the LP adminstration to adopt them if they wish - and for the lazy, there's nothing more enticing than free stuff! - and/or we can 'market' them ourselves to many of the more radical local parties.

Any publications out there already to go into a 'radical packet'? Any volunteers to start making them?

Michael,

You are absolutely right on doing what you are doing. My campaign has focused on internet video, and on radio ads that any candidate can use, but pamphlets are an important positive way to go.

Please keep up the good work.

Why are we fighting for a party that will certainly go to the moderates? Let's join the Boston Tea Party, they're perfect for radicals like us.
